The cap is what sold me on these juice bottles.

They’ve got a removable insert on the top that makes the wide mouth easy to drink from because it’s got space for a straw and a drinking hole big enough to easily drink juice from. But the wide mouth makes it easy to pour into when you’re filling up the juice container.

The bottles are a nice big size, big enough for a serving, and fit nicely into your fridge fitting in the inside of the door or they’re leak-resistant and store tight enough to be lay on their side.

I prefer glass bottles but this is specially treated plastic that’s high heat resistant, shatterproof and BPA free approved by the FDA so it’s still pretty damn good.

You also get 4 bottles which are perfect for lasting you the 72 hours from making to finishing your fresh juice.

These high-quality glass bottles are everything you need for storing your juice.

These are dishwasher safe which is great. After all, it means you can give them a complete clean and no funny smells will start to build, because even though it’s clear glass and looks clean a hand wash can sometimes lead to unseen food particles starting to smell.

These glass water bottles are completely glass so they’re reusable, durable and if you ever want to get rid of them you can recycle them!

The lid is made from BPA free plastic and is completely leak-proof, always a must or you get green juice eeeeeverywhere. Not that I’ve done that before…

Ideal glass beverage bottles for storing juice, smoothies or water.

  • Keeps Cool For 24 hours
  • Very Durable

AMAZON PRICE AND REVIEWS

As I said if you want to enjoy your juice through the day you’ve got to have the proper equipment to do it.

And what better than a Thermos vacuum flask to keep your juice cold your body happy just get your juice poured into this and enjoy it whenever you want!

The stainless steel cap on this works as a serving bowl so you pour your juice into that then you can drink from it. It’s got a completely leak-proof cap so you can rest assured that it won’t spill and fits nicely inside a cup holder in your car for maximum convenience while you’re driving.

One thing I will say is that it is very big at 24 oz so if you won’t fill it to the top that is fine, that’s a lot of juice after all!

But easily one of the best containers for juice storage you can buy, perfect for taking juice on the go.

How To Store Juice

As I said, you’ve batch made your juice, you’ve got enough to last you a few days, now what?

Now you need to store it! in the right juice container of course but whatever one you chose you’ll follow these three easy steps.

Step 1. A Clean Airtight Storage Container

I’m going to go into what materials are best below but I like a bottle that is completely clean, airtight and preferably see-through so I can see what’s inside.

Step 2. Put It In The Fridge

Another obvious one but that’s because storing your juice is super easy!

Once you’ve got it bottled up securely keep it in the fridge, it will spoil if you leave it out on the counter!

Juice Bottle Materials Explained

3 Best Bottles For Juicing - A Juice Storage Guide (4)

There are only really two types of material you’ll be storing your juice in, glass or plastic.

Plastic Juice Bottles

The most important thing with Plastic bottles is to ensure they are BPA free.

Why? Because BPA’s are a chemical used in some plastic containers that can leach into your food and as a result into you. It’s thought they can be the possible cause of all sorts of health problems, and I for one would rather not have plastic inside my body!

Luckily there are in fact loads of great reusable plastic bottles that are BPA free and no more expensive than alternatives.

Aside from that plastic is great! Easy to clean, easy to store, they won’t shatter and they normally have great airtight seals.

Glass Juice Bottles

I know more and more people who are trying to go plastic-free, which make glass juice bottles a great choice.

BPA free, really easy to wash, very durable and you can use them forever and ever. Just make sure you get ones that are shatter-resistant, most are as standard but you don’t want a delicate glass juice bottle you want one that can stand the test of time.

How Long Will Juice Last In The Fridge

It varies a lot, unfortunately.

Fresher vegetables will last longer after they’ve been juiced but a lot of it comes down to what juicer you used. Juice from a centrifugal juicer will last up to about 24 hours while juice from a masticating juicer can last 48-72 hours, 2-3 days. I’ve got more on how to keep your juice fresh here.

So you’ve got three days between when you make it and when you can drink it.

If you make a batch on Monday, you can make 4 portions and enjoy it on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Pretty good going from a single juicing session!

Taking Your Juice On The Go

3 Best Bottles For Juicing - A Juice Storage Guide (5)

A quick word on taking your juice with you to work or anywhere else.

If you live somewhere hot as I do then you know that anything you take outside gets warm more or less instantly unless you have it in a proper container.

So while glass and plastic are ideal for at-home storage if you’re going to take your juice with you then we need to bring out the big guns.

Stainless Steel Juice Bottles

Some sort of thermos is what you need, if you have a travel cup for keeping coffee hot then it will likely work just as well keeping juice cold.

You get these in other materials than just stainless steel but they’re just not as good quite frankly!

Conclusion

And there you have it, you now know everything you need to about buying cold pressed juice containers. The only other thing is going to want to keep in mind, is to make sure you thoroughly clean the bottle after you’ve used it.

So either get a bottle brush or get it inside the dishwasher. You don’t want to leave any particles of juice in there or it’s going to start smell bad, it won’t necessarily be bad for the juice but it’s not a pleasant experience. Glass jars you’ve already got can work too, mason jars or any other glass container can be a perfect choice of airtight juice container.

Apart from that, you’re good to go! Your juice will be kept fresh. I hope you can find the right glass jars for jucing, or even bottles for freezing juice if that’s what you need. Juice bottle sizes can vary a lot so make sure you check the listing so you can keep drinking fresh juice. And please not these also work as smoothie bottles, plastic or otherwise

Happy juicing!
