The barbecue sauce and grape jelly crock pot meatballs are a three ingredient dish. Care to guess what the ingredients are? Yep! Barbecue sauce, grape jelly and meatballs, of course. Care to guess how you cook them? Yep! In a crock pot or slow cooker. You literally throw a bottle of barbecue sauce, a jar of your favorite grape jelly into crock pot or slow cooker (or whatever you call it), blend well, stir in the meatballs and cook on high for 3-3-1/2 hours. That’s it. Super easy. Super yummy. And, if your family is like my family, super gone!

Barbecue Sauce and Grape Jelly Crock Pot Meatballs

So simple, yet so good!

You can use any brand of barbecue sauce (my preference is Sweet Baby Ray’s) and any brand of grape jelly (I don’t have a brand preference).

We eat these meatballs anytime we have the whole gang over, for parties, family get together and even graduation parties. They make for a great appetizer or main course. You can sprinkle onParmesan cheese and serve in a hoagie or hot dog style bun, serve over rice or simply put them on a plate and eat them with a fork – or eat them with a toothpick, if you’re anything like our daughter. They also go great with Parker House Rolls.

So, grab a jar of your favorite barbecue sauce (Sweet Baby Ray’s – yum) and a jar of your favorite grape jelly, along with a bag of meatballs and you’ve got yourself one sweet and savory main dish or appetizer.
